LATAM- Small team (1-10 people)- Position overviewA leading provider of technology-enabled services for the insurance industry is looking for a self-motivated, talented, proactive Technical Team Lead.

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation of the solution's architecture from ideation to completion
Monitor and support project standards, approaches, and policies
Gathering requirements
Decomposition of User Stories to technical tasks for Backend developers
Guiding team members with the best possible solution approaches
Prioritization and planning
Code review

Requirements

B.S. in software development, computer science, or related field (Equivalent experience also accepted)
8+ years of relevant work experience in software development and design.
3+ years of experience coaching and mentoring an agile software team.
Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals (e.g., algorithms and data structures).
Deep understanding of JavaScript and at least one JS framework (React, Vue, Angular).
Deep understanding of and at least one Node framework (express, sail, koa).
Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
Deep understanding of SOArelated standards such as REST/JSON.
Solid understanding of database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc).
Solid understanding of Git and managed source control services like GitHub.
Foundational knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Foundational knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
