Role and Responsibilities

Your Role & Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, conducting and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems, crossfunctions and cross business domain within the aviation flight crew area.
  • Works on high value (revenue) projects with large scale customer impact and able to operate under limited direction and mínimal oversight. Able to delineate requirements to solve complex business problems using differing technologies and systems views across multiple functional domains (within company and between company and its customer) on high profile and/or mission critical efforts and projects.
  • Ability to provide strategic direction and plan strategically for current and future business environments, including future technology and business design changes to create flexible solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of systems flows, engineering documentation, tools and architecture concepts required. Provides functional/technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
  • Creates Business Plans/supports (including business cases) to assure plans meet company goals and integrates these with technical programs and project plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, to serve as lead conduit between developers, architects, designers and with external and internal customers.
  • Supports Development staff by assisting with functionality questions, addressing testing issues, training on new products and all delivery planning aspects for deployment of a service or product, as assigned.
  • Subject matter expert in functional domain; provides guidance and direction to less experienced business systems analysts.
  • Will be responsible to install software, conduct data migration, setup integration

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years 20 ye+ years related experience.
  • Crew Planning, Schedule, Tracking and crew Rules expertise is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of programming languages e.g. Java, Python ,C ++
  • Handson to write code to automate manual work using programming languages mentioned above, or automation through macros (VB etc.)
  • DB experience Oracle or MongoDB
  • Knowledge and experience in writing DB queries using SQL or PL/SQL
  • Knowledge on integration e.g. SOAP, XML, JSON, Postman
  • Experience on using Microsoft Office esp. Excel (writing Macros is a plus), PowerPoint
  • Hands on experience/expertise in the Crew Management area either worked in airline in scheduling, training, tracking or the endtoend implementation of crew enterprise systems is a plus
  • Advanced computer software skills
  • Requires understanding clientserver architectures and the integration with legacy systems.
  • Strong domain knowledge in Airline crew scheduling, flight crew planning, or flight operations is desired

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
