Network Infrastructure

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society.

Nokia's Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

The team you will be a part of

You will work in NI (Network Infrastructure) Americas Business Operation within the RBC (Regional Business Center) IP & ON.


In particular, you will work in delivering Optics (DWDM) Projects to our clients and in this role you will have the opportunity to interact with all sectors of Nokia.

It is a challenging job with a lot of responsibility.

What you will learn and contribute to


As part of the team, you will: deploy, transform, and expand new Optical DWDM Networks for Nokia customers in Latin America.


As part of our team, you will:

  • Lead DWDM Optical Network deployment projects.
  • Define and execute a Project Schedule that meets customer needs.
  • Coordinate technical teams deploying, expanding and transforming Optical Networks for customers in Latin America.
  • Interact with different areas and teams within NOKIA, such as Network Design, Commissioning, Support, and Deployment Delivery to ensure the project execution on time.
  • Closely Interact with Customers, PMs, and the Commercial team on the project followup reporting.
  • Develop partners and providers when needed for a given region or project.
Your skills and experience


You have:

  • Electronic or Telecommunications Engineer Degree or alike
  • 06 years ́ experience working with DWDM Networks, fiber optics networks and transport technologies.
  • At least 02 year ́s experience leading and executing Telecommunications projects.
  • Strong communications skills, customer oriented.
  • Experience using Project Management tools
  • Advanced Level of English (able to read and speak)

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams


  • Project Management

  • PMI certification
  • Knowledge on IP Networks and Routing Protocols (OSPF)
  • Linux/Unix OS Basic understanding.
