As part of the fraud prevention forensics & analysis team, you will work on deciding the fraud prevention strategy for each industry.

The objective will be to optimize the decision of witch payments we have to reject and make decisions that continues to improve de user experience, keeping in mind the charge back and conversion rate targets

What will I be doing?:

Identifying fraud patterns by continuous data analysis & review of previous fraud. Monitoring current traffic to have an early warning in case of an attack
Developing rules and implementing them on the respective fraud engine, setting the right threshold to the machine learning models transactional scoring systems, and working together with the data science team to improve prediction accuracy
Defining combinations between rules, machine learning models scores and third party providers data so as to maximize the fraud rates objective for each industry
Analyzing new databases to improve the amount of relevant data provided.

What skills do I need?:

Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, statistics, or related fields.

- + 3 year of experience in Fraud Prevention or similar industries

Vast experience manipulating and exploring large databases, SQL is a must
Knowing how to code on python or similar data oriented languages, such as R would be a nice to have
Having experience on data management tools, such as AWS Sagemaker notebook, Athena, Qucksight or similar platforms would be another nice to have
Strong Analytical Skills and passion for discovering new patterns and decision making.
Have the ability to go to detail without losing the big picture
Enthusiastic, Proactive, team player & problem solver.
Fluent written and spoken English
