What is this position about?

You will be part of a Data Engineering team for a company that specializes in acquiring companies that are facing difficulties and implements a data-driven approach to make strategic decisions that enable the revival and improvement of these companies.

As a Data Engineer, your role will be crucial in ensuring a seamless flow of data and creating consolidated datasets to enhance the organization's analytical capabilities and reporting functionalities.

What will I be doing?

Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to develop and maintain data integration and rollup processes on an onpremises SQL Server.
Utilize strong SQL skills to perform data analysis and ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Design and implement ETL workflows to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the SQL Server environment.
Demonstrate proficiency in data modeling to create consolidated datasets that support enhanced analytical capabilities and reporting functionalities.
Assist in simple process automation to streamline datarelated tasks and improve overall efficiency.
Play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful setup of datadriven decisionmaking processes for the acquired companies.

What expertise do I need?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong background in traditional data engineering skills.
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis
Handson experience in ETL development and pipeline creation to manage data flow effectively.
Proficiency in data modeling across multiple domains, enabling the creation of consolidated datasets.
Familiarity with simple process automation techniques to enhance productivity.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to different data challenges and take on resourceful approaches to achieve objectives.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team.

What about languages?
Excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication is a must
