***As the

Application Group Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring timely development and manufacturing of new products as well as maintenance of consistent quality throughout the manufacturing chain.


A DAY IN THE LIFE

• You will support with the planning and implementation of new product development aligned to the strategic plan, through the development of specifications, the registration and management of recipes and the conduct of industrial trials and keeping quality tests.
• You will continually assess the technology of the Factory to determine appropriateness for new and renovated products in the pipeline.
• You will continuously review and improve the existing product range, through the conduct of audits and troubleshooting exercises, ensuring the optimisation of the manufacturing process.
• You will conduct analysis and provide solutions to gaps identified regarding the quality of finished product.
• You will provide expert product training to stakeholders in order to improve the quality of the manufacturing process.
• You will provide expert advice to the Leadership Team on regulatory issues and claims related to internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL

• First Degree / Master's Degree in Food Technology / Chemistry / Chemical or Process Engineering
• Prior experience in Project Management
• At least 4 years prior experience working within Product Development
• Understanding of the phases of development and the Nestle Good Manufacturing Practices
• Strong Technical Skills required in Food, Product &/or Packaging Research, Development & Innovation
• Strong Achievement focus, Logical thinker, strong analysis, problem assessment and resolution oriented
• Good organizational skills and communication skills (written & verbal)
