    Main Objective of the Position:

    Execution of the monthly reconciliation of operations between BASF companies (Americas region), as well as the management of other billing and royalties processes, in a timely manner. Inform and support senior team members regarding projects, audits, and annual closures.

    Main Tasks:

    • Monthly reconciliation of operations between BASF companies (Americas region), adjusting to closure if necessary, in a timely manner with proper justification.
    • Analyze and follow up on outstanding items due to differences between intra-BASF reconciliations.
    • Creation of contracts with third parties regarding volume sales discounts in a timely manner.
    • Prepare credit notes for discounts on sales to third parties in a timely manner.
    • Collect, execute, and report to team members in internal and external audits.
    • Collaboration in the preparation of year-end notes, in a timely manner.
    • Participation in medium-impact projects, ensuring proper implementation.
    • Provide quality support to our stakeholders in invoicing processes, through calls, emails, training, etc.
    • Proactive support in actively seeking improvements in daily Intercompany and invoicing processes.

    Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:

    • Education | Graduate or advanced student of Public Accounting (preferable) or Business Administration.
    • Work Experience | 3-5 years of accounting or related field experience.
    • Languages | Advanced level of English, knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
    • Technical Skills | Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with SAP is highly valued.
    • Soft Skills | Analytical mindset with a strong interest in research and analysis. Self-motivated and capable of working independently to achieve goals.
